Licencias Creative Commons.
Cuando un usuario se encuentra con material multimedia adherido a una licencia Creative Commons, debe conocer aquello que se permite hacer con esa obra.
En los vídeos depositados en MMedia, el autor puede seleccionar el tipo de licencia que desea asignar a su vídeo. Dicha licencia se mostrará junto al vídeo antes de ser reproducido, informando así al usuario de que ese material audiovisual se encuentra protegido con este tipo de licencia.
Este tipo de licencias ofrecen algunos derechos a terceras personas bajo ciertas condiciones.
LICENCIAS CREATIVE COMMONS.
Cuando un usuario se encuentra con material multimedia adherido a una licencia Creative Commons, debe conocer aquello que se permite hacer con esa obra.
En los vídeos depositados en MMedia, el autor puede seleccionar el tipo de licencia que desea asignar a su vídeo. Dicha licencia se mostrará junto al vídeo, informando así al usuario de que ese material audiovisual se encuentra protegido con este tipo de licencia.
Este tipo de licencias ofrecen algunos derechos a terceras personas bajo ciertas condiciones.
Podemos encontrar cuatro condiciones combinadas para escoger:
Reconocimiento (Attribution): En cualquier explotación de la obra autorizada por la licencia hará falta reconocer la autoría.
No Comercial (Non commercial): La explotación de la obra queda limitada a usos no comerciales.
Sin obras derivadas (No Derivate Works): La autorización para explotar la obra no incluye la transformación para crear una obra derivada.
Compartir Igual (Share alike): La explotación autorizada incluye la creación de obras derivadas siempre que mantengan la misma licencia al ser divulgadas.
Con estas cuatro condiciones combinadas se pueden generar seis licencias diferentes entre las que podemos escoger una para nuestro vídeo u obra:
Reconocimiento (by): Se permite cualquier explotación de la obra, incluyendo una finalidad comercial, así como la creación de obras derivadas, la distribución de las cuales también está permitida sin ninguna restricción.
Reconocimiento - NoComercial (by-nc): Se permite la generación de obras derivadas siempre que no se haga un uso comercial. Tampoco se puede utilizar la obra original con finalidades comerciales.
Reconocimiento - NoComercial - CompartirIgual (by-nc-sa): No se permite un uso comercial de la obra original ni de las posibles obras derivadas, la distribución de las cuales se debe hacer con una licencia igual a la que regula la obra original.
Reconocimiento - NoComercial - SinObraDerivada (by-nc-nd): No se permite un uso comercial de la obra original ni la generación de obras derivadas.
Reconocimiento - CompartirIgual (by-sa): Se permite el uso comercial de la obra y de las posibles obras derivadas, la distribución de las cuales se debe hacer con una licencia igual a la que regula la obra original.

This type of license offers some rights to third parties under certain conditions.
We can find four combined conditions to choose:
Recognition (Attribution): In any exploitation of the work authorized by the license will need to recognize the authorship.
Non Commercial (Non commercial): The exploitation of the work is limited to non-commercial uses.
No derivative works (No Derivate Works): The authorization to exploit the work does not include the transformation to create a derivative work.
Share Equal (Share alike): Authorized exploitation includes the creation of derivative works provided that they maintain the same license when they are disclosed.
With these four conditions combined you can generate six different licenses among which we can choose one for our video or work:
Recognition (by): Any exploitation of the work, including a commercial purpose, is permitted, as well as the creation of derivative works, the distribution of which is also permitted without any restriction.
Recognition - NonCommercial (by-nc): The generation of derivative works is allowed as long as they are not used commercially. Nor can the original work be used for commercial purposes.
Recognition - NoComercial - ShareItal (by-nc-sa): It is not allowed a commercial use of the original work or of the possible derivative works, the distribution of which must be done with a license equal to the one that regulates the original work.
Recognition - NoComercial - NoDerivada (by-nc-nd): No commercial use of the original work or the generation of derivative works is permitted.
Recognition - Shareual (by-sa): The commercial use of the work and possible derivative works is allowed, the distribution of which must be done with a license equal to the one that regulates the original work.
Recognition - NoDerivada (by-nd): The commercial use of the work is allowed, but not the generation of derivative works.
