(EN) How to log in: external users and University users?

Users with an official University account will need a username and password.

Users with an account belonging to the *UV.ES domain (alumni.uv.es, uv.es, ext.uv.es, or any other account within the uv.es domain) can authenticate in the Virtual Classroom to automatically create their account.

Remember to log in as a "University User" using your username; don't use your email address.

If you wish to recover your password for your official account, you can use the website https://cuentas.uv.es or contact the CAU (University Support Center) through https://solicitudes.uv.es

For users without an official University account, the login credentials consist of an external email address and password.

External accounts are created by administrators or professors who wish to grant access to a course or community in the Virtual Classroom. First, an account must be created using the email address provided by the new user, and then the user must be added to the participant list.

External user is considered to be those email accounts that are not the official ones in the Universitat de València (example: gmail, Hotmail, other universities accounts). For security reasons, it's the manager's responsibility to request the identification (See the External Account Creation Policy) of the new user. Accounts without access for 2 academic years are suspended.

Once the account has been created and confirmed, the user will be able to access it with the password sent by the account creator. If the user cannot access, he can recover the password, from the following link: https://aulavirtual.uv.es/login/forgot_password.php

For authenticacion as "External User", the provided external email account must be used.
