(EN) Why don't I have a virtual card if I have already uploaded my photo in the Virtual Secretariat?

 

The simple fact of having a photograph entered into the system does NOT mean, today, that a Virtual Card is available instantly.

In order to have a Virtual Card, there must first have been a request for it, and once it is verified that all the data is correct, the Virtual Card is created. This verification and creation process is carried out every hour, so that if everything has worked correctly and no incident has occurred, the card will be available within an hour after the Photograph has been uploaded.

The Virtual Card Requests are created at the time the registration is made at the University, as long as no incident occurs during it, such as (incorrect address data, wrong passport...), if If an incident occurs during enrollment, it must be the center's secretariat that proceeds to create the Card Request once the errors have been corrected, and it is the center's secretariat that should be addressed.

If for some reason when accessing to view the Virtual Card it indicates that "no active card is available" and nothing else is indicated, this means that there is not yet a registered Virtual Card request in the system. It is in these cases when you should contact the secretariat of your center.

If it also shows:

  • "You have a card request in status: Pending photo".

If you do not have any photos already uploaded to the system, but you have a card request, you will have to proceed to upload it from the virtual secretary and after an hour, if everything went well, you should already be able to view your Virtual Card.

If you already had the photo uploaded to the system, and it has been uploaded for more than an hour, contact the User Service Center or its secretariat.

 

  • “You have a card request in status: Personal data or incorrect address data”.

This error is due, as indicated in the message, to the fact that there is an error in the personal data entered, such as (town of birth, address, postal code, surname, name...). In these cases you have to contact the secretary of the center to correct the error. Once corrected, after an hour, if there are no more errors in the data, the Virtual Card can be viewed.
