La The Universitat de València permite realizar visitas guiadas a las instalaciones del supercomputador Tirant. La visita permite conocer mejor la Red Española de Supercomputación y el funcionamiento del nodo de Valencia.
Debido a la reciente construcción del nuevo Centro de Proceso de Datos (CPD) de la Universitat de València, se ha trasladado el supercomputador Tirant a una nueva ubicación, lo que nos obliga a realizar algunos cambios en las visitas. Por favor, aunque ya haya venido otras veces, revise los nuevos requisitos.
La visita dura aproximadamente 1hora y 30 minutos y está compuesta de dos partes, una charla de introducción y la visita física al CPD. Tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:
- El número de visitantes no podrá ser superior a 30, debido sobre todo a la capacidad del CPD. Para la visita física se harán grupos más reducidos, de 10 personas como máximo. El resto de visitantes esperará fuera del recinto a que sea posible entrar. Si los visitantes son menores de edad, irán acompañados al menos por dos docentes, para que no queden sin supervisión en ningún momento. Los grupos de más de 30 personas tendrán que solicitar más de una visita.
- No está permitido entrar comida ni bebida al CPD.
- No está permitido tocar ningún componente informático.
- No se realizarán visitas en Julio y Agosto, debido a las vacaciones del personal encargado de las mismas.

allows guided visits to the installations of the Tirant supercomputer. The visit allows to know better the Spanish Supercomputing Network and the functioning of the node of Valencia.
Due to the recent construction of the new Data Processing Center (CPD) of the Universitat de València, the Tirant supercomputer has been moved to a new location, which forces us to make some changes in the visits. Please, although you have already come other times, review the new requirements.
The visit lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and consists of two parts, an introductory talk and the physical visit to the CPD. Consider the following:
- The number of visitors It can not be higher than 30 , due mainly to the capacity of the CPD. For the physical visit, smaller groups of 10 people will be made. The rest of the visitors will wait outside the enclosure to be able to enter. If the visitors are minors, they will be accompanied by at least two teachers, so that they are not left unsupervised at any time. Groups of more than 30 people will have to request more than one visit.
- It is not allowed to enter food or drink to the CPD.
- It is not allowed to touch any computer component.
- There will be no visits in July and August, due to the vacations of the personnel in charge of them.
