Methods of access to the disk folder:

Via WEB (Accessible from the Internet without VPN)

TTo access the information deposited by the group on the server, simply open the server address https://disco.uv.es with a browser.

Via assemble Network Unit (SMB / CIFS)

Connect disk space as a network drive from Windows 10

The recommended method is to connect the disk space as a network drive. This is done by right-clicking on This Computer, and selecting Map Network Drive.

Write in the Folder box: \\disco.uv.es\user

Mark the box Connect with other credentials. and click Finish

Enter our UV username and password again and click OK

Use UV\<username> if you have problems.

Another method is Start menu, Run, and enter \\disk.uv.es\user. We will be asked to enter the email password. With this method, every time we close the window, we will lose the connection.

Mounting the directory as an SMB or AppleShare disk in MacOSX.

From the Finder, we use the option "Go" , "Connect to the server" and we put:

• smb: //disco.uv.es/user (connection via SMB)

Or

• afp: //user@disco.uv.es/Home Directory (connection via! AppleShare). If the "Home Directory" is not specified, it can be selected later.
