For the publication of grades, we can export the grades from Moodle to a file that can be used in the gradebook application.

Moodle calculates the total grade for a course based on the items specified by the teachers in 'Configure grades'.

To export, go to "Grades", then "Export":

Select the option within "Export as" and choose "Aplicació d'Actes (XSLS)". Here, select the grading items for the final grade in the section "Grading items to include" (only one item can be selected. Typically, we choose "Course total"):

Within the export options section:

• Export display type : we must choose "Real"
• Number of decimals for export: we can choose up to 5 decimals

  

What happens if the instructor wants a student to appear as 'NOT PRESENT' in the course before exporting grades to the gradebook application?

The instructor must manually edit the student's grades and leave the 'Course total' blank.

If a student has no grade, it will appear blank by default.
