(EN) Modality 2: Recommended groupings or loose subjects and automatic distribution

Recommended groupings or loose subjects and automatic distribution

Groups: Selection of recommended groups of subjects or Independent by subject.
Subgroups: Automatic assignment.

You can choose to enroll by recommended groupings, by single subjects or by a combination of both. To do this, use the selector (Radio Button)

The registration process for recommended groups is as follows:

  • Choose the set of subjects of the course you want to enroll and click on register
  • You will see a set of groupings in which there is a place for ALL the chosen subjects in that group
  • Choose the grouping that interests and accepts you.
  • If for any reason, any subject has not been able to enroll, a dialogue will appear that, if accepted, will erase the rest of the subjects enrolled. If you cancel, you will be enrolled in the subjects that have been possible.
  • If through the recommended groupings you can register for all the subjects, your process has ended. If you have not been able to enroll in all the subjects, change to the modality and complete your registration.
  • In recommended groupings, it is possible to enroll in more than one group.

The enrollment process for individual subjects is as follows:

  • Choose the set of subjects of the course you want to enroll and click on register
  • For each subject, groups will appear where there are available places
  • You must choose a group for each subject
  • It is possible that you have chosen a group and at the time of confirming, another student would have chosen the last place of it. A message will appear indicating the subject (s) in which you could not enroll. You can delete the enrolled subjects that you want and re-enroll them in other groups that have seats.

Other considerations:

  • Each time a subject is enrolled in a group, either through groups, or manually, there is a distribution of students in subgroups (classes with hours) that have been defined for that group.
  • The distribution is made following the criteria defined by your Center.
  • If your Center allows it, you can change subgroup in the process of self-registration. If not, you will have other deadlines and environments to request changes.
  • If you are a repeater in a subject, and your Center has arranged it, when enrolling in the suspended subject, the group chosen by you will be ignored, and you will be enrolled in a special group. The students of this group will be distributed later according to the criteria established by their Center. Therefore, in the time of self-registration, you will not know the subgroup (class) of that subject.
